It’s not super new but it’s one of those things that do make you wonder about the future of TV. The Popcorn Hour C-200.
So what is the popcorn hour and what can it do?
Well you connect it to your TV/home cinema set/whatever you have in your (living) room and makes you watch… basically anything.
You can plug a HDD into the device and store your favorite movies, music, series and pictures on it. Using the remote control you can browse and open them on your television. You can also plug up to 2 USB devices in the machine.
But that’s not where this one stops. One functionality that really caught my eye is the internet option. Through this device you can go on the internet and directly watch streaming online tv shows and listen to online radio stations!

Here at idreamto.be we really wonder if devices such as the Popcorn Hour C-200 can begin a TV revolution. I mean if you could watch any tv show online on your tv with a remote control (and a beer) in your hands… AND watch the news and perhaps even liveshows… why would you still have a regular TV connection? You don’t have to wait till a show is on, just see if your favorite tv show launched a new episode.
